                   This hand was issued on 31st January 1856.  I have recorded this office using both green and blue ink.
                                                         GREENINK

                       I have recorded only one example in a green ink so the period of use in just November 1856.







































             This example is dated 28th November 1856 and shows the code C. It is seen cancelling a 2d blue postage stamp.


                                                          BLUE INK
               I have recorded this colour used between Oct.  1856 and Jan.  1857. Black ink is again used during this period.




























               Here is an example in blue ink dated 22nd January 1857 with code C. It is cancelling two 4d postage stamps.
