From 1986 mail posted on the SIS Suomi and S/S Suometar two lake steamers that
operate a feny service on Lake Paijanne in central Finland receive a distinctive
pictorial postmark. Mail posted on the ships is usually landed at Jyvaskyla at the
northern end of the 75 mile long lake.
