Cover posted on board the Finnish sail training ship KIL Suomen Joutsen in 1935,
landed at the port of Cartagena on the north coast of Colombia. The Finnish stamp
has been cancelled with the ship's postmark. Finnish stamps were valid for
postage if the item of mail was posted on board the ship.

The Suomen Joutsen sailed from Helsinki on 9th October 1935 and called at Lisbon
(Portugal); La Guaira (Venezuela); Cartagena (Colombia); Colon (Panama); Callao
(Peru); Valparaiso (Chile); Cape Hom; Buenos Aries (Argentina); Rio de Janeiro
(Brazil); Ponta Delgada (Azores) and returned to Helsinki on 2nd. July 1936.
