A super strike of this hand stamp is seen above dated 16th June 1862 and shows the code W7 it is seen on a
pair of 4d surface printed stamps and it is posted to Belgium.
TYPE VII 2nd Recut
This recut was issued on the 14th August 1862. This was the last of the recuts to be done on this hand stamp.

Here you can see an example of this hand stamp on a mourning cover. The strike is dated
5th November 1862 and it shows the code M7.
